Your Abilene Public Library wants to make sure everyone has a fun and safe summer. In order to do that we are providing a free program, “Vacation urity,” all about how to prepare your property, family and finances for when you go on a vacation this summer. No one wants to come home and find out that someone has been riffling through your stuff (or that there’s no stuff left)! Sue Heath, C.C.P.S., from the Crime Prevention Unit of the Abilene Police Department, will present “Vacation urity” at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Main Library auditorium.
